Bio: Mike grew up in New Hampshire and has been hanging around the poetry scene of Portsmouth and the Seacoast for the last twenty years. He has been participating in Beat Night for eighteen of its twenty three years and hosting and organizing it for the last eight. Mike has three collections of poetry and is working on a fourth. Mike was the 11th poet laureate of Portsmouth from 2017 to 2019 and is currently the chair of the Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program. He is also on the board of the Poetry Society of New Hampshire, the founder of Hive Poetry Project, Bee Monk Press, and Space Bee Studio.
